I grew up listening to Al "Jazzbo" Collins on WNEW in the early '50s and was especially, a fan of Stan Kenton and later Woody Herman in the '70s. When I first heard PMG on Miami radio stations in the early '80s I was totally taken with that sound and still can't get enough. Then I bought this CD of Bobs giving PMG the "Big Band Jazz" treatment. It is almost as if the only ice cream I ever had was vanilla and then someone gave me chocolate. Another great treatment of an already great treat!
