Here's Glenn Miller's super hit authentically transcribed and re-created by Jeff Hest! This one is a must-do chart to teach the distinctive Glenn Miller sound and style. Its unique arrangement can be done either as an instrumental version without vocals or with the traditional and original vocal group parts. This tune was written by Oliver Nelson in 1961 and recorded for his Straight Ahead album with Eric Dolphy. John Fedchock crafted this big band arrangement of the melody in 1997 and recorded it for his album On the Edge. This chart features alto saxophone and trumpet playing the melody.
